The school is a public school and it has existed since 1955. The school has its own building.
THE VOCATIONAL SCHOOL
Postal and financial services - four-year study finished with the school leaving examination (A-levels)
The graduate is able to work at the branch of postal and financial services, banking, money saving, insurance, financial administration and related branches.
Operation and economy of transportation – four-year study finished with the school leaving examination (A levels)
The graduates of the specialization will be able to conduct all activities associated with the ensuring demands for road, river, naval and air transportation. They will find their use at private forwarding companies.

The preparation is focused on mastering activities associated with quantitative as well as qualitative takeover of goods, storing, treatment and manipulation with the use of modern devices. The graduate is prepared to conduct the job of a storekeeper.

Additional school (and out of school) activities:
Ski course
Every winter the first year students spend one week in the Ore Mountains where they learn skiing and snowboarding, they have special lectures and they get to known one another. It is a very popular activity.
Sporting and hiking course
This is designed for the third year students. They spend the whole week outdoors where they have special sportive and hiking programme. The evening programmes with party games are especially popular.
Vocational training in different firms
During each of the four years students spend two weeks in a firm. They get acquainted with the real working routine and they check their competence and qualification. They complete a project about the firm and their experience in it. All these materials they file into their portfolio.
Foreign excursions
Five-day abroad excursions are organised every year for students, so that they could get acquainted with the life in neighbouring countries. They can also practise their German, English and French. Most often we go to France and Germany.
Excursion, special lectures
There are excursions to logistic and forwarding firms organised for students every year. The experienced specialists use to come to our school and give lectures on logistics of services (banking, postal services and insurance) and transportation logistics.
There are also organised lectures and forums dealing with ecological problems, healthy way of life and drugs prevention.
Cultural events, shows and performances
We regularly visit theatre performances, concerts and film screenings.
Emergency situations training
The whole school, students, teachers and all other personnel take part in this training, which is usually organised at the end of the school year. The alarm is raised and people train the evacuation. We also watch training videos and invite firemen and paramedics for discussions.
Afternoon school programme:
Fictive firm – Logisticservis s. r. o.
We learn how to be in business – e.g. how to sell cars, how to advertise our services, etc. We go to international fairs.
PC club
Students learn some sophisticated PC and internet skills and applications.
Conversation in foreign languages
Students can practise and improve their language skills.

Scholarly activities
Students focus one or two years on a special topic and finish it with a voluminous paper on the subject matter. The topic is always close to their specialisation.

Methods of evaluation
The students’ knowledge is evaluated every year in each class by Cermat and Scio tests whose results enable us to compare our level with the level of other schools. In addition to that we also write regular compositions.

When our results are getting worse we can ask our teachers for a counsel.

Breaks and holidays
We have two-month holiday in summer (July, August). There are also two days of autumn holiday, Christmas holidays(one week), spring holiday (one week) and two days off at Easter.
